I don't know if it is an error specifically for my computer and my MIDI keyboard, or if it is a general error that anyone trying to connect a MIDI keyboard will see. If you have a USB capable controller, make sure this is plugged into its own USB port rather than a USB hub. Sometimes, I have to go to settings/preferences (in the other DAWs) and 'enable' the MIDI device. Finally, go ahead and open up Options Control Surfaces. Next, youll want to go to View Toolbars and make sure that 'Control Surfaces' is checked. It is a USB-connected keyboard, and with those other DAWs, I simply plug the keyboard into my PC (directly) and it works. The first step in getting MIDI in and out to function properly is tomake sure the cabling to your keyboard is correct. I haven't seen any solid documentation on how to do this with Bandlab (web) I searched Bandlab's website (using the phrase "Connect MIDI Device") but the 'closest' result was how to change MIDI mappings. MIDI keyboards are mini-computers in their own right, and they can break down just the same. TL DR: Will a MIDI Keyboard work with Bandlab (web browser version, PC/Windows 10)? The keyboard is an M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini.
